This is a TEMP TO PERM Opportunity... The Temporary portion will last about three to four months before the position goes permanent. Ideal candidates will come from a shipping/warehouse/manufacturing environment. Must have some experience with ASN/EDI.
Status: Temp to Perm
Temp Pay: $13 to $15 per hour
Salary: $30,000 per year
• The temp portion will last about three months.
• This Candidate will be working on Data Entry and working with Bar Coding and Shipping to Customers
• Technology: ASN (Advance Shipping Notice)
Overview of ASN: An Advance Shipment Notice (ASN) is an EDI formatted electronic notification of pending deliveries; an electronic packing list. In the EDI X12 system, it is known as the EDI 856 document. The ASN can be used to list the contents of a shipment of goods as well as additional information relating to the shipment, such as order information, product description, physical characteristics, type of packaging, marking, carrier information, and configuration of goods within the transportation equipment. The ASN enables the sender to describe the contents and configuration of a shipment in various levels of detail and provides an ordered flexibility to convey information.
